Residential Hospice
What We Offer
A 10 Bed Residential Hospice - Professional Staff and specially trained Support Volunteers provide excellence in Hospice Palliative Care on a 24 hour per day/7 day per week basis. Family members are welcome to stay with their loved one.
Social, emotional, and spiritual support round out the holistic care approach offered to residents and extending to their families.
Meals are provided for residents and visitors are welcome to enjoy homemade soups, refreshments and the fresh baking that can be found on the kitchen counters.
Each private room is equipped with an air bed to optimize client comfort, ample storage for personal belongings, a washroom, a small refrigerator and satellite television.
A Spa Tub and access to a variety of Holistic Therapies offered by certified volunteer practitioners.
Criteria for Admission
To be considered for admission, candidates must:
Be a minimum 18 years of age
Reside within the Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, Brant - Burlington Local Health Integrated Network area. (HNHN LHIN)
Understand that the goals and interventions employed by the hospice do not include extra-ordinary measures.
Qualify for Community Care Access Centre Services
