Advance Care Planning

FALL SESSIONS - VIRTUAL THROUGH ZOOM

Wednesday October 28th

Come and play the game that ignites the conversation about what is most important to us!

This coming Wednesday October 28th 6pm - 7:30pm we want to ask each other questions that will help us start a conversation many us probably avoid. Sandra Andreychuk (seen in this video) along with Clare Freeman will help us get started in this conversation.

What do I want for myself and for my family at the end of my life?

This goes beyond a will.

What is your favourite past time? Does your SDM and family doctor know this? Did you know that this could become vital in your end of life care?

What value is most important to you? If you were in a car accident and suddenly couldn't speak for yourself would those that are speaking for you know how this value could be interpreted in your care?

Big questions? yes. But we can help you get started. Have them with yourself and with your family NOW when you are presumably healthy or not in health crisis. Join us this Wednesday on zoom at 6:00-7:30pm

Wednesday November 18th

We will be joined by two experts in the financial and legal fields of wills and estate planning. This will be an interactive question and answer format.

Wednesday December 9th

Important information for Substitue Decison Makers. If you are or anyone you know has been assigned the important task of being and SDM or you are needing to decide who will be your SDM or if you have chosen the correct person, come to this incredible important interactive presentation and question session.

To RSVP for any of the above events please email events@kemphospice.org
