Memorial Gatherings

 

November is a month of many memorials. Together we celebrate and remember all losses, traumatic, sudden and palliative. Below are dates of specific remembrances that fall in November. We look forward to remembering and celebrating loved ones we have lost with you.

November 11th - Remembrance Day

Join us on social media as we pay tribute to the men and women that lost their lives in hopes of a better future for generations after them.

November 17th - National Bereavement Day

November 19th - Children's Grief Awareness Day  

November 19th - Children's Grief Awareness Day. Join us in wearing blue as the symbol of this day. We invite you tune in for an interview with Lisa Lisson, the author of 'Resilience' and the President of FedEx Canada. Lisa resides in Burlington with her 5 dogs and 4 children. She lost her husband 13 years ago. Lisa will speak candidly about how her children's grief has changed over the years and what she finds the most helpful for her and her family.
