The Major Gifts Officer role, reporting to Senior Director, Development is responsible for helping to attain the annual fundraising goals of the Kemp Care Network, with a particular focus on the personal solicitation program. Responsible for the acquisition, stewardship, cultivation and retention of major-level annual donors, the Major Gifts Officer acts as a relationship manager for supporters who give at the $10,000+ level.
Kitchen Help is responsible for the safe preparation and delivery of meals for residents, as directed by the Kitchen Manager and with special consideration to any dietary requirements or individual requests by residents.
The Human Resources Generalist is a multifaceted position that will lead and be responsible for the development, implementation and support of all human resource functions.
Volunteer Administrative Coordinator will be the first and steady contact for current and future volunteers of the organization and a focal point for the administration of volunteer services and supports. This will include aspects of recruitment, intake, placement, retention, scheduling, record keeping, inquires and training.
Volunteer Program Coordinator will coordinate some of the specialized volunteers and volunteer-led programs as well as think and act strategically when it comes to engaging community in the organization’s volunteer-centred activities, such as with partners like McMaster Children’s Hospital. This position will include the aspects of specialized recruitment, intake, placement, retention, scheduling, record keeping, inquires and training. It will also include program design and delivery of specialized programming such as day-wellness, visiting volunteers in the community as well as program support for Camp Keaton, a grief and bereavement camp for children.
