Ashley Mikitzel

Manager of Bereavement and Supportive Care

I completed my Bachelors of Social Work at Ryerson University, my Masters of Social Work at Laurier University and most recently, my Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto. I am registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Ashley Mikitzel is the Manager of Supportive Care and Bereavement Programs at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Ashley is a Registered Social Worker who has been working in serious illness, end of life and bereavement support for over 5 years. She has been actively working within the oncology community for over 10 years. She additionally work with a grassroots organization called Pink Pearl Canada, which supports self-identifying young women ages 18-40 with any type of cancer diagnosis.
