Camp Keaton Volunteer Application Process
- Camp Keaton volunteer bereavement training will be held in March/April, (dates and times TBA). You must attend all dates to volunteer for Camp Keaton Hamilton.
- Mandatory Volunteer Meet & Greet at the hospice the evening of (date and times TBA).
- Mandatory Meet & Greet – all volunteers, campers and families on an evening in May (date and times TBA).
- Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Counsellor in Training Application
In 2022 we introduced our Counsellor in Training program. Counsellor in Training volunteers must be 14 – 17 years of age and be in good physical condition. They must attend all required volunteer trainings and relevant meetings. Please note that we will be accepting four applicants. You will be contacted for an interview following your submission if application requirements are met. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
As a Counsellor in Training, you will be shadowing a Cabin Big Buddy volunteer and are part of the Camp Keaton Hamilton family. These volunteer Community Service hours can be applied to meet your high school volunteer requirements. You will be a major part of the camp experience for the campers and therefore we ask that everyone conducts themselves accordingly.
